In 2013, TennGreen acquired approximately 8 acres of land along the Cane Creek River.
In 2013, the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) alerted TennGreen staff to an impending auction near Fall Creek Falls. Due to the proximity to Fall Creek Falls State Park and the biodiversity of Cane Creek, TDEC was interested in managing the property. TennGreen purchased the property in May 2013 and transferred it to TDEC the following year.
