To kick off Earth Day on April 22nd, Bongo Java has launched its new Ten for Tenn series benefiting the Tennessee Parks & Greenways Foundation (TennGreen)!
The series was dubbed Ten for Tenn because 10% of all sales will be donated to TennGreen to create parks, establish wildlife corridors, expand existing protected lands, and enhance public recreational opportunities.
The three blends are color-coded, with each benefiting a different region of the state.
BLUE is a 100% organic dark roast with tasting notes of bittersweet chocolate, caramel and toasted vanilla bean. It benefits counties in West Tennessee (Chester, Hickman, Lewis, Madison, Shelby, and Tipton).
GREEN is a 100% organic medium roast with tasting notes of honey, orange, milk chocolate and spices. It benefits counties in Middle Tennessee (Cannon, Cheatham, Coffee, Davidson, Dekalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lincoln, Maury, Putnam, Van Buren, Warren and White).
BROWN is a 100% organic light roast with tasting notes of dark chocolate, red plum and black cherry. It benefits counties in East Tennessee (Bradley, Campbell, Carter, Cumberland, Fentress, Morgan, and Roane).
