Steve Law's resume spans nearly 25 years in the sector of conservation, including natural resource management, greenways planning and operations, strategic conservation planning, negotiating land acquisitions, and environmental education. He has a B.S. in Wildlife Management from the University of Maine at Orono. He has served as Real Estate Coordinator for the Mecklenburg County in Charlotte, North Carolina as well as the Division Director—Natural Resources for Mecklenburg County. Additionally, he has served on the board of directors for the Catawba Lands Conservancy, Environmental Educators of North Carolina, and the North Carolina Natural Heritage Advisory Committee. Prior to this appointment, Law was the Executive Director of the Steep Rock Association, a land trust in Washington Depot, CT.
